Welcome to the upgraded website.

Although I have continued to publish in Instagram I have been quiet on the blog for the last few months. This gave me the time to upgrade the hosting software to a service that has more optimisation for photographers.

These few months have been very exciting because a) we have moved into spring, b) I saw and photographed by first otter in the wild, and c) I have upgraded to a full frame Canon R6 MkII camera. I am looking forward to using this in combination with my Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens.

Now that the website is operational I will be updating the blog on a regular basis. I will also be experimenting with gallery displays within the website, and video capture using the R6. Fun times ahead!
